ArtéMakar Productions was founded with a mission to activate the imagination
by reinventing how we tell stories through emerging mediums of art
Our launch has been a long time coming–since 2016 to be exact, when Arthur and Tamara met for a collaboration that would be the first of many. From New York, to Paris, to Yerevan, and back, we’re nomadic artists who love to collaborate with emerging and exciting playwrights and innovators in their fields. Together, we like to experiment, transcend traditional limitations of performing arts, and are curious about technology’s place in art.
We were planning a launch party for September 2020 to celebrate our work so far and toast the art to come. Then the pandemic hit. Zoom became a way of life. True to our nature, we embraced the change and pivoted our launch online. Thus, The O’Leary Theory was born. A fusion of our fresh approaches to acting, directing and design, the live improvised and interactive digital experience of The O’Leary Theory represents who we are. We are ArtéMakar Productions.
