THE CENSORSHIP OF DREAMS
Thank you for considering making a donation to The Censorship of Dreams. All donations are tax-deductible through New York Live Arts fiscal sponsorship, which allows Arté Makar Productions to operate under their 501(c)(3) non-profit status. The Censorship of Dreams, by Nora Sørena Casey, is a multidisciplinary theater work that we have been developing over the past six years. It has been programmed for a three-week run in the iconic La MaMa Theatre’s Spring 2026 season, from May 1-17. All donations will be acknowledged in the show’s program.
The Censorship of Dreams welcomes you to a world stripped of memory and ruled by constant surveillance, where brain–computer technologies shape truth. In this Restarted civilization, dreams are the last remnants of the past and become a dangerous currency for those struggling to survive.
A timely and deeply resonant work at the intersection of theater, music, and technology, The Censorship of Dreams explores how love, language, and the body are reshaped in a world without privacy.
